The Story of the Development of Re-enchantment from the creator, Nadja Lind
I have been using my ambient drone music that includes binaural frequencies for many years, and it has really saved me. Whenever I felt exhausted due to my sleeping problems and extensive travelling schedule around the globe, working night shifts as a DJ, I would put my headphones and blindfold on and put on a drone ambient with binaural beats. After only 20 minutes, I felt fully recovered, relaxed, and full of energy, and my overstressed nervous system was quiet again; I was ready to function.
I have constantly been researching how our brain/nervous system functions and have tested with all kinds of frequencies, sounds, and modalities in order to figure out what works best for me and others. As a music producer, I love a certain sound aesthetic and have a clear vision of what I want in my ambient meditations in order to move my whole being into a different state quickly.
Although melodies are very nice, I find myself always coming back to the more drone-like and quiet pieces of binaural ambient tracks. They support me better in drifting into my favorite theta frequency right between wakefulness and sleep, and they support me also in delta when I use them to fall asleep. These tracks also help me focus, visualize my goals and new behaviours, and boost my creativity.
It takes many days and long hours of listening over and over again in a relaxed state to the particular sound in order to remove anything that could distract the listener. Every tiny little noise or sound can snap you out of the deep state you are trying to achieve through listening.
On the other hand, I also introduce tiny sound effects and ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response), since my nervous system loves being tickled, and also to help me get into a dream-like state where part of me is aware and wondering about these noises and distractions and makes up little thought stories, while the other part of me is totally relaxed and deep in meditation.
It feels like I am stretching my consciousness!

How to Use Re-enchantment from the creator, Nadja Lind
I personally like to use this kind of drone ambient music for calming my nervous system down — this not only works before falling asleep but also in stressful situations, like sitting in a waiting room, before a dentist appointment or before a test.
Additionally, I use the different frequencies to become more focused on what my inner voice is telling me. I use the sound to recalibrate my inner compass and set my intention on what I want and who I want to become. Plus I actively feel how I would feel if I had already become that person. This is a most powerful self-hypnosis technique that rewires your nervous system in order to free you from old, habitual routines you no longer want to live by.
Use Alpha (track 1) to tune into your inner voice + reprogram old patterns and habits through the power of your subconscious.
- Either sitting up or lying down (and I love to use a blindfold to detach from outer visual stimuli), focus on your breathing. Breathe in for 4 counts, out for 7 counts.
- Say to yourself, e.g., “My inner wisdom shows me my next step.”
- Ask yourself, e.g., “What vibrational energy do I have to become in order to reach my next goal?”
Use Theta (tracks 2 & 3) to set intention + visualization + reprogram old patterns and habits through the power of your subconscious.
- Either sitting up or lying down (and, again, I love to use a blindfold to detach from outer visual stimuli), focus on your breathing. Breathe in for 4 counts, out for 7 counts.
- Say to yourself, e.g., “My body knows how to heal, my cells know how to heal, I am healed.”
- Say to yourself, “My inner wisdom/guidance knows what to do.”
Use Delta (track 3) to fall asleep and to promote deep sleep.
- Lie down, get cozy, focus on your breath, and optionally practice a “let go” mantra: when breathing in say “let,” and when breathing out say “go.”
- Or you can do a muscle relaxation walk through your body, e.g., “My toes are relaxed, my ankles are relaxed, calves are relaxed,” and so on until you reach, “My brain is relaxed.”
- You can also count down from 111 backwards.

Delta brain waves are predominant during dreamless sleep, and are all about growth and the preservation of health. Trained meditators and healers often display stronger delta waves than the standard population and often report states of no sensation (even awareness of our bodies can disappear) and deep spiritual connection. Delta brain waves are also considered our connection to intuition and the “seat” of all unconscious processes.

This music is a constant flow with a deep, monastery-like atmosphere to envelop you in a hypnotic sound bath in order to fully relax your nervous system and allow you to let go of anything that’s distracting your precious attention.

Creator
Nadja Lind, creator of some of iAwake’s most intriguing and distinctive tracks, such as In Nature, A Ticket to Glide (In the Flow), The Universe is Friendly!, Kismet, Re-enchantment, Heaven and Earth, Refuge, BE, Theta Joy, Strong Medicine, Purrfound Meditation, Turning In Ambient Meditations, and Workout Ecstasy Volumes I and II, has a passion for recording ambient sounds and developing binaural beat ambient meditations.
Developed initially to support her own healing process, Nadja’s friends and colleagues enthusiastically requested more drone waves with the certain Nadja touch.
After 17 years of calling Berlin her homebase, Nadja now lives in the south of the “Black Forest” in Germany. She has had a globetrotting DJ career since 2003, been a sound designer and producer of electronic music since 2004, both solo and as one half of the live duo “KLARTRAUM,” and is co-owner of the Lucidflow imprint among other labels. Nadja is also a certified specialist in Pain Relief Therapy, Osteo Pressure & Fascia Yoga, and is a certified Yoga Trainer.
Nadja’s personal development and spiritual evolution led her to Ken Wilber’s AQAL map and the idea of “Integral” many years ago, which was the catalyst for starting her own brainwave entrainment meditation series, Turning In.
Nadja was trained in Sadhguru’s “Inner Engineering & Shambhavi Mahamudra” at the Isha Foundation, and has been practicing on a daily basis since October 2017. She works out approximately 4 times a week at the gym, and since 2018 additionally is to find on the mat doing Ashtanga-inspired Vinyasa yoga several times a week as well as hiking in the mountains. During her sessions, Nadja likes to use entrainment + beats.
Nadja has also trained in hypnosis, “Liebscher & Bracht” pain specialist and massage therapy, and is a vigorous practitioner of Voice Dialogue (Hal & Sidra Stone), Quantum Psychology (Stephen Wolinsky), Ho’oponopono (Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len), and Dr. Joe Dispenza’s workshops, and has been meditating on a daily basis for many years.
