The Importance of Practice in Transformation – 8.15.12
In this teleseminar, John Dupuy talks about the recent Buddhist Geeks Conference that he just attended and his observation that in the study of meditation, the subjective aspect is just as important as the objective or physical aspect.
John also talks about how we can use the disciplines and skills that we have learned from our meditation practice to apply in anything that we put our minds to. He also gives a short demonstration (by playing the electric guitar) of how he applied to his music what he learned from meditation practice.
Some questions in this teleseminar include:
- “I need coaching or suggestions” in using the Profound Meditation Program while processing difficult feelings, which causes the sounds to be “disturbing” or “threatening.”
- “I’ve just recently bought the Profound Meditation Program. Tell me how important are the frequency responses for listening to the CD via headphones or earbuds as the frequency response of my headsets are between 20 hertz and upwards. Will listening to the program be more effective using lower frequency headphones?”
- “How is PMP 3.0 different than PMP 2.0?”
- “For those of us who already have 2.0, is there a break-in price for upgrading to 3.0?”
