PMP3 – Component 2 – The Releasing Tracks

Releasing • Recovery • Overtraining • Overwhelm

Once you’ve begun to reach the peak of your nervous system’s capacity to recover from the stimulation of the Primary Meditation Tracks (which could take place within a day to a few weeks to a few months of beginning to meditate with the tracks), you will switch to meditating with the Releasing Tracks  daily.

101-chart10This approach allows your nervous system the time it needs to recover from the stimulation of the powerful carrier frequencies and biofield energies contained in the Primary Meditation Tracks.

According to the British Medical Journal’s ABC of Sports Medicine (http://www.bmj.com/content/309/6952/465.short), overtraining is pathological because it represents “hard training without adequate rest”. Again, from the British Medical Journal’s site:

Overtraining is the process of excessive training that leads to the overtraining syndrome, which can be defined as a state of prolonged fatigue and underperformance caused by hard training and competition.

CD-label-RM-1x350This acute overtraining syndrome is precisely what emerges as “overwhelm” with the use of some of the most popular multi-level/carrier frequency entrainment programs. In fact, the highest stages of such programs often result in fewer participants, because the constant application of one hour of heavy, unvaried stimulation every day—with no rest or variation of stimulus—absolutely overwhelms the nervous system’s capacity to fully adapt to, and recover from, the powerful stimulus.

It is one thing to “push” the nervous system to develop its highest potential, but another altogether to constantly overwhelm the nervous system.

Ideally, any “push” given to the human nervous system should not only vary in its degree of intensity from day to day, but also allow proper rest and recovery. This gives the nervous system enough time to accrue the energy needed to fully recuperate and adapt to the stimulus.

Variability of both stimulus intensity and duration on a daily basis honors the nervous system’s natural cycles of wavering between a high capacity to adapt to stimulation and a low capacity to do so. The idea is to attune to this natural cycle as closely as possible, enabling the deepest, easiest and fastest adaptation as possible, while also minimizing the excess and extended overwhelm that can often impede or halt further growth.

With the conventional multi-level approach, however, the nervous system is stimulated with consistent intensity and duration every day, and with this invariability comes inevitable overwhelm. Encouraging the nervous system to make a leap in development, however, does not require this incessant “bludgeoning” approach.

When these natural cycles are respected and adjusted to, they can actually speed up and streamline development, while reducing the overtraining syndrome and overwhelm that result from overstimulation and insufficient rest and variability. This kind of intuitive attunement, when compared to the conventional multi-level approach, would look something like the diagram below.

101-chart11

PMP 3.0 is designed to offer enough variability and precision to facilitate this harmonious relationship with these natural cycles. And the Release Tracks, in particular, are a great way of dramatically decreasing the stimulus intensity, while also catalyzing deep meditation and emotional release, whenever the point of acute overtraining has been reached. When the sense of acute overtraining has subsided, simply continue using the Primary Meditation Tracks as before.

Signs of Acute Overtraining/Overwhelm:

  • Feeling “on edge”
  • Quick-tempered disposition
  • Intense anxiety
  • Emotional outbursts, etc.

All of these symptoms are merely signs that the nervous system has reached its peak capacity to adapt to the stimulus. They represent only temporary discomfort meant to act as a cue to decrease the stimulation intensity, and do not present any kind of long-term dangers. (PMP 3.0 is entirely safe.) By ceasing use of the Primary Meditation Tracks at this stage and instead using the Releasing Tracks on a daily basis, you will still experience profound states of meditation, but without the heavy carrier frequency stimulation offered by the Primary Meditation Tracks.

The Releasing Tracks contain biofield frequencies and evoke brainwave patterns especially suited for deep recovery and release.

Brainwave Patterns Found in the Releasing Tracks

Brainwave Entrainment Frequencies (i.e., the brainwave patterns generated via auditory entrainment frequencies):

Track 1 – 7.5 Hz – 20 min
Track 2 – 5.5 Hz – 20 min
Track 3 – 3.5 Hz – 20 min

Biofield Entrainment Frequencies (i.e., the brainwave patterns generated via silent biofield frequencies):

Track 1 – Alpha, Theta, Delta (simultaneously) – The “Evolved Mind” Pattern
Track 2 – Alpha, Theta, Delta (simultaneously) – The “Evolved Mind” Pattern
Track 3 – Alpha, Theta, Delta (simultaneously) – The “Evolved Mind” Pattern

A Short Note on the “Evolved Mind” Brainwave Pattern Contained Within the PMP 3.0 Biofield Signals (Primary Meditation, Releasing Tracks and Epsilon Only)

While C. Maxwell Cade’s “Awakened Mind” brainwave pattern is fairly well known in meditation circles, it is less well recognized that he discovered another, more advanced pattern he referred to as the “Evolved Mind” pattern.

Using the Mind Mirror, a unique EEG machine he developed, he saw an exceptional balance of high-amplitude Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta activity in the brains of highly seasoned meditators and spiritual aspirants. He interpreted this pattern as a profound bridge that integrated the conscious mind with the subconscious and unconscious minds as well as the collective unconscious, in a unified flow. This pattern appeared during reports of unconditional joy, bliss and expansive awareness.

The Biofield signals in the Primary Meditation Tracks, Releasing Tracks and Epsilon contain this Evolved Mind brainwave pattern. As such, not only will you experience the target brainwave patterns facilitated by the auditory entrainment signals in each of these tracks (e.g., 0.01 Hz in Track 2 of Epsilon), but you will also enjoy the multiple brainwave patterns enabled by our biofield entrainment signals. This delivers a more well-rounded and natural approach that encourages more integration of subconscious and unconscious material that can otherwise limit spiritual and emotional advancement.

To experience more of this Evolved Mind pattern during meditation, please read the next section, “How You Can Easily Amplify the Biofield Transmission of PMP 3.0.”

NOTE ON CARRIER FREQUENCIES IN THE RELEASING TRACKS:

All carrier frequencies used in the Releasing Tracks offer optimal entrainment efficacy, while also being quite gentle and less stimulating to the brain and nervous system. This “gentle but effective” approach allows the nervous system optimal recovery time from extended use of the Primary Meditation Tracks.

Basic Strategy for the “Releasing” Tracks

  • Use them whenever you are feeling PMP is “pushing” you a bit too much. Their use is generally meant to be as an alternative to the main meditation tracks. So, when you are not using the main meditation tracks, you can use the Release tracks.
  • Generally speaking, when you reach a consistent sense of overwhelm that lasts for several days, it is time to switch to the Release tracks for at least one to three weeks, after which time you may resume using the main meditation tracks.
  • Allow your intuition to guide you in this process.
  • If you are not experiencing any overwhelm but desire an additional half-hour or hour-long meditation in addition to the main meditation tracks, you may use the Release tracks as a second meditation. For example, you might listen to the main meditation tracks in the morning, and listen to the Release tracks as a meditation in the evening. We do, however, ask you to not overdo it, as such a schedule could possibly deliver more stimulation than you are easily able to integrate.
  • Listen to them in the same meditative posture that you would the main meditation tracks.
  • The deep sense of bliss and renewal will be immediate after listening, but they will also grow over a period of days during your use, especially as you relax into releasing.
  • Accompanying the immediate sense of renewal will also be a deeper awareness of the pertinent issues you need to release. You will sense them as a kind of tension, anxiety and resistance somewhere in the background of the bliss. Rest assured that this is a VERY positive sign, because you are now perfectly poised to simply let these resistances go. Instructions and guidelines for facilitating such release are included below.
  • You will find that the deepened sense of joy and bliss will actually embolden you to relax more deeply into the root of the resistances that are beginning to surface. And as you do so quite naturally, your sense of bliss, renewal and optimism will effortlessly blossom of themselves over a period of days. You just keep getting happier and happier, and life begins to flow. It is also helpful to be mindful of letting go of the bliss as it arises. The more you let go of whatever arises (even bliss), the more blissful and light you will feel, until you eventually release into a profound sense of peace and equanimity.
